About Dandusha

DANDUSHA was born from a love of colour and design. After fifteen years of experience in the fashion design industry, Brisbane's Fashion Designer, Daniela O'Sullivan, was introduced to the possibilities of furnishings. Immediately, she recognised the potential for the right colour and texture to bring a room together. Coupling her flair for design with her extensive skill set as a Production Manager in clothing, Daniela embarked on the furnishings industry.

Specialising in Commercial, Residential, and Marine Furnishings, DANDUSHA combines Daniela’s flair for design with her expert skills and attention to detail for a bespoke service catered to your needs.

Daniela collaborates with Architects and builders to develop design solutions and bespoke living spaces.

A specialty of DANDUSHA is introducing sustainable Kangaroo leather scatter cushions with duck feather inserts to the market.

DANDUSHA's unique streamlined process offers individual consultations to determine your requirements and specifications. Then, will source all materials and manufacture your product from Daniela’s studio workshop in Brisbane.

All of DANDUSHA’s fabrics and foam come with the option of being wholly Australian-made.

Daniela is a designer that understands the value of self-expression, whether it is in your wardrobe or living space, her passion has always been to go on a journey with others to guide their expression.

With fifteen extensive years of working in Fashion Design, along with seven years of experience in the upholstery industry, Daniela has worked in several disciplines. From a fashion designer in activewear to a production manager for designer labels, she has also worked directly in apparel production to creating leather accessories as a freelance designer. Daniela built an immense passion, enthusiasm, and skillset in fashion design that would help her start her own furnishing design business.

While on this journey toward her creative passion, Daniela dedicated six years of study to an Associate Diploma of Arts (Fashion Couture) and two certificates in Apparel Production.

Combining this professional foundation and experience, she has embarked on a journey to create and deliver dream living spaces. Specifically, she will design, develop and produce these spaces through her Homeware and Marine Soft Furnishings skills.
Daniela starts her mornings at God's first light by walking along the Wynnum foreshore with her husband, Tim, and always followed with a double shot latte from Frankie's Bar to kickstart her day.
